The paperback proofs for Blood Match arrived yesterday and I feel like I’m in a dream. I’ve been working on this series for nearly fifteen years. I’ve moved across state lines, changed jobs multiple times, and raised three teenagers in that time. The idea of holding a copy in my hands seemed as realistic as catching a cloud. I guess the reason for this post is to remind everyone that if we really want something, we have to work for it. Our dreams aren’t handed to us until we take initiative and make them a reality.

Thank you to everyone who supported this dream alongside me. To those who listened to me talk through story ideas, character descriptions, and finally the insanity of self-publishing, I appreciate your patience and insight. I’m sharing my dream with you and the rest of the world.
